1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Get FinMan ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Get FinMan.

2. Description of Service

Get FinMan is a personal finance management web application that allows users to track transactions, budgets, investments, financial health, and more. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and a paid Pro tier.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account with others — use the Household Sharing feature for joint access.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

• New accounts receive a 30-day free Pro trial with no credit card required.
• After the trial, accounts revert to the Free tier unless upgraded.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $9.99/month (or promotional rate if applicable).
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time from Settings → Manage Billing. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service's security
• Misrepresent your identity or financial information

6. Financial Disclaimer

Get FinMan is a financial tracking and organizational tool only. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. All insights, scores, and projections are informational estimates based on the data you provide. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Get FinMan are owned by Get FinMan. You retain ownership of the financial data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get FinMan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses based on information displayed in the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Get FinMan from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deactivated.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Saint Charles County, Missouri.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you by email with 14 days notice before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
